Word
Dictionary |
| Those who know me know that I may say
words that aren't quite conventional. I tend to
take 'slang' and personalize it to my own definitions. Sometimes
events occur and a new word, or new meaning for an existing word, is
created. This list consists of words and phrases that I use
on a consistent basis. If you ever hear me say something and
don't know what it means or want to find out its origin, this is the
place to come to find out. What's great is when my words get picked
up by my friends and people who I hang out with. Haha, that's pretty
cool when they catch on. Words are added as they are added to my
vocabulary. Enjoy! |

last night." "Gabe is becoming a chat." derived from
a slang word in the Spanish (Tex-mex) language carrying the same meanings as the

1) to ride a two-wheeler (bicycle, moped, motorcycle, etc.) while maintaining a
certain level of coolness; 2) to expel intestinal gas through the anus;

game, Ryan was rivering everyone by winning all his hands on the last
card." "I am going to river him because he so did that to Larry the other day." originates from a term, the 'river' card, used in
Texas Hold 'em Poker. The 'river' card is the last community card dealt,

better hard and best odds to win.

Phrase Dictionary |
| The C.C. -- That's right
people, I coined this phrase! I was the first to use this acronym,
and am happy to hear that it is catching on. 'The C.C.' refers to
Corpus Christi, TX. It is derived from 'The O.C.', which is the name
of a television show that is set in Orange County in California. It
has got to the point to where 'The C.C.' is now the only way I refer to
Corpus. A number of friends have started to do the same, in their
vocabulary as well as on their respective websites. |
