University of Texas Freshman Year (Page 1) |
| The University of Texas at
Austin had been calling my name for as long as I can remember!
Needless to say, it was a given when I decided to attend undergrad at
Texas. A bunch of us all went our separate ways, though I was
fortunate enough to have a good number of great friends to head to Austin
with, namely Gabe, Hunter, OG, Alison, Steph, Ricky, Pris, Shareen, Will,
Jay, Ana, and Marisa among others. Karen joined us just one year
later. It was also cool to be back in
school again with some of the fellow "Athena Brats" from Ray and
King like Thomas, Phillip, Leo, Susan, Robert, Craig, Stacey, etc. Sadly
though, for multiple of reasons, I don't have many pictures from the
undergrad days. If anyone has any to submit, by all means please
send them to add to the ones below. Any friends, from any schools, the more pictures the better! |

Livin' at The Towers and gettin' ready for #6 Texas

...host #9 Notre Dame. We lost on a last second FG! |
This was actually the third game of the season, and I
had been to games before, but this was the first top 10 matchup Texas
played in since 1990 (#4 vs. #3...
|
...Miami). And it was the first top 10 game that
Texas hosted since #10 Texas hosted #4 Arkansas in '80. The year was up
& down, bringing a Big 12 crown!

..Cotton Bowl at the State Fair of
Texas. Nothing! |
 Our first OU weekend as students was awesome,
though we did lose to a freakin' 0-4 Oklahoma team in overtime, damn
it! I was SO pissed after that game! |
We were able to get a shot of the boys before meetin' up
with peeps and goin' out. Four damn good friends from high school
all roomed together in undergrad! |

The boys all made it back in town during Carroll's
homecoming week that year. It was great to see... |
...Chris, Jase, and Nik again, Such freshman... Hunter
