I know, it's been like three whole months. I don't
have time to write or update yet, but wanted to get this information out
to y'all. A concerned friend submitted the following ...
In November 05, Brandon Lamprecht (Carroll
graduate) was diagnosed with Leukemia. He recently has been in
remission at MD Anderson, but will have to have a bone marrow transplant.
Their insurance company will cover the surgery, but not the testing.
He may have 3 matches, one in the U.S. and one in Britain. The
testing is very expensive, about $15,000 per person. JoDee (his
wife) works for San Jacinto Tile at 5926 S. Staples St.. They will
be holding a Benefit BBQ for Brandon on February 25th. to
raise money for the testing. Shay, of San Jacinto Tile, conveyed
that anyone can come by or call to just make a donation. Their
number is (361) 992-7600. I am not sure what time the benefit is,
but I assume it will start around 11:00 AM and run until they run out of
food. There are a lot of people who think very highly of Brandon,
and they may not know about his situation.
... If anyone might be able to help out in
this situation, I'm sure it will be very much appreciated by all those
