11/30/03 -- I hope everyone had a Happy
Thanksgiving. Mine was okay. It was pretty routine from year's past,
which is not all that bad anyway. I spent it with some family during the
day, and then was with a friend later that evening. All in all it was
fun. I was glad to see so many faces this past week/weekend also. It
is always nice hanging out with people that I haven't seen in a while.
The College Football Pick 'em Game is over, and the stats are
in! I was lucky enough with my picks to come in 1st place. Johnny
came in 2nd, followed by Hobag, Hunter, Silky, Larry, Steve, and Janell bringing
up the rear. The results were kind of jaded towards the end because some
people started to pick major upsets in order to make up major ground.
Granted, that was the only way to do it after a certain point because 2nd place
is the same as last place in a winner-take-all game, a more realistic finish
might have gone more like, Mike in 1st, followed in 2nd by Larry, then Johnny,
Hobag, Steve, Hunter, Janell, and Silky. Either way, it was alot of
fun. Those who haven't paid up yet, please don't forget to do so.
Speaking of football...so, another year...another Texas win over
A&M (yawn!). Haha, this is getting boring guys! 46-15?
Thanks Aggies! Y'all let us show why we are BCS Bowl worthy! It was
a great game.
So December is practically upon us already. Green and Red
are everywhere, and the malls are crowded. It's beginning to look alot
like Christmas! This month usually flies by in my opinion. I like it
though. Okay, so yeah...I am babbling because I don't have much to write
today. Below is Priscilla Sendejo's wedding announcement for her upcoming
wedding. I thought I would include it in today's post. Hope everyone
is well, and will talk to y'all soon. -- Michael

11/09/03 -- Happy One Year Anniversary to my website!!!
"This site is intended to keep
people informed on what is going on with me, as well as my friends. I also hope this site helps
people, whom I have lost touch with through the years, get back in touch with
me. Please feel free to give this website out to any or all of your
friends. Also, if you would like to have any information put on here, just
let me know. I'll be happy to include communication from others.
Thanks, and I hope you like what I created. Oh yeah, please don't forget
to sign my guest book and also provide feedback... Thanks! -- Mike"
(first post from 11/09/02)
The site started as a little page of information about
myself. It was first intended to give people a way to get in touch with
me. Well, one year and over 12,500+ hits later (that's 1,000+ hits a
month!), it has become a great place to find information about everyone that we
grew up with. The site has been a huge success, especially the
"Classmates" section. I have reacquainted
with so many
people. I have heard that others have reacquainted with friends as
well. I am so happy that the site is serving a purpose.
With that being said, I want to express my sincere
"Thanks" to all those who visit, especially on a regular basis.
Thanks to those that have shared their information in the
"Classmates" section. Thanks to everyone who has shared
information such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, special events,
etc. Thanks to all my friends who are in the "Photo
Album". All of your information and pictures makes this site a great
place for people to come and see what is going on with everyone.
Lastly, I would love to hear any and all of y'alls thoughts on
the first year of this site's existence! What did y'all like? What is it
missing? How can I make it better in this next year? Please let me
know what y'all think! Call me and/or e-mail me to let me know your
thoughts. If you don't know my e-mail address, click here, or go to the
"Contact Me" section. I hope everyone is well, and I look
forward to hearing from everyone. Thanks so much for all of y'alls help!
Best Regards,
Michael Carrizales

11/06/03 -- Happy Birthday Ashley Carrillo!
11/05/03 -- The updates to the site are coming along
nicely. Thanks for all of the info and communication from everyone.
I am going to call a few people out though...
Jessica Masey, Erika (Serna) Bouts, Jenni Trevino, Tina Rivera,
and Tammy (Lange) Wall
...Thank y'all for signing my 'Guest
Book'. It would be great to have y'all in the 'Classmates'
section too! Please e-mail
me your information to do so. I hope to hear from each of y'all soon!
I don't have much to write today. I have been pretty tired
and such recently, but I am getting by as always. Isn't it funny how life
seems to drag you down one minute, then sweeps you right back up with something
else the next? Anyway, I decided to answer a few FAQs again...
Q. "How do we get our information in the 'Classmates'
section?
A. Right now, the way to do so is to e-mail
me the information. I will code it to where you can do it yourself right
from the site. I'll do that when I have more time. E-mail
should suffice for now though.
Q. "Are there other people that you keep in contact with
that haven't included themselves in the 'Classmates'
section yet?
A. Yes, quite a few actually. I do talk with a bunch of
people that have yet to give me their information. All have said they
will, they are just taking their time. Hopefully, they will do so soon so
it will be more populated.
Q. "What ever happened to Rachel Horton?"
A. This, by far, is the most commonly asked question in terms of
"what ever happened to so-n so". Honestly, I have no idea what
Rachel is up to. Wherever she is, I'm sure she is doing well like she
always has. If anyone keeps in contact with her, please let her know about
the site and that friends would like to get in touch with her and wish her the
very best.
Q. "Will the 'Horns run the table and get to a BCS bowl
game?"
A. Bet on it baby! It will happen!
...I hope everyone is having a great week. Talk to y'all
later! -- Michael
11/03/03 -- Hi everyone. I hope everyone is doing
well to start this week. Texas had a good win this weekend. We got
OSU this weekend, which hopefully should be another win for us. Go 'Horns!
So please continue to send me your information.
Obviously, send me names and information for the "Classmates"
section. Also, if you like you can send me birthdays and other
announcements that you would like to have posted on the site. I know alot
of people's by memory, but I don't know everyone's information off hand.
So keep me posted on that stuff too! Talk to y'all later...bye! --
Michael
