07/30/03 -- Hi everyone! Unfortunately I have some
bad news to report. I was sifting through the Caller-Times website today,
and happen to read an article about an apartment fire in Corpus. As with any
major fire, people lost their homes and/or their possessions. One of the
pictures is actually of Carrie Fraizer-Cazales. Please keep her and her child in your thoughts and
prayers. If anyone still keeps in touch with her, please let me know if
there is any way I, or readers of this website, can help. Click on this link
to read the story. -- Mike
07/29/03 -- Mornin' y'all! I hope everyone's week
is off to a great start. I have added/updated four new pages in the Photo
Album, so be sure the check them out. The Cancun pictures and Laura's
visit have been redone. I added Hunter's visit, and the Maxim party.
They all came out great. Silky's going away party will be soon to
follow. BTW, the video from that night is hi-freakin-larious!
I don't really have much to write this morning. Thinks
have been going okay...busy, but okay. My ankle is finally getting to the
point to where I am able to be as active as I want to be now, though I am still
being cautious. I will eventually have surgery on it, most likely at the
end of the summer ish, so the injuries will be less likely throughout the rest
of my life. They need to go in there and fix it for good. But for
now, it is starting to get its strength back. Now I get to start putting
in the hard work again. Slowly but surely, I'll get back to my old
form! Keep in touch everyone...bye! -- Mike
07/28/03 -- Good Morning everyone! I hope the
weekend was good for all of you! Silky's going away party was great.
I'll have pictures up soon. I finally added the pictures from the Maxim
magazine party last month. They are great! I'll add more
pictures from Laura's and Hunter's trips to Texas today or tomorrow. They
came out really well. I am trying my best to get the site back to being as
current as possible. In the meantime, please keep sending me y'alls
information for the "Classmates" section.
Remember, anyone and everyone is welcome to being listed. I would love to
have as many people as possible take part!

07/21/03 -- I finally have time to update the website
today...
Haha, when I was sent these pictures, I died laughing. A
friend of a friend saw and hung out with Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitzki recently
in Dallas. Haha, check out the Dallas Mavericks off-season training
program. It looks like the Mavs are working hard to "get over the
hump" and win the title in '04! Dirk looks wasted!

Another thing that made me laugh was when Will Lundquist sent me
this link.
Can you believe Corpus Christi is #1 in this list? Funny stuff!
My congratulations go out to a few people today. Last week
Jimmy Guerra informed me that he recently became engaged! Yup, Jimmy
proposed to his girlfriend Bethany Morgan from Tennessee on 7/12. I am
very happy for him!
Also, I wanted to say congrats to Kate Schnelle on her recent
wedding. Her and her husband Blaine tied the knot last month. Her

07/19/03 -- Congratulations to Katie LeRoy's on her
wedding day in San Antonio, TX!!!
07/17/03 -- I am so sorry it has taken me a few days to
update the site. I have been pretty busy this past week. I was also
a little under the weather feeling like crap for the last week or so. I am
better now.
I don't have much to write about today, nor do I have much time
to write. I hope everyone is doing well. I'll post more information
as soon as I can. Talk to y'all then! -- Mike
07/07/03 -- I hope everyone had a good 4th of July weekend. Mine
was fun. I drove to Houston at the last minute to pick up Hunter from the
airport on Friday night, and we met up with Alison, Chris, and their two
friends. His flight changed, so he wasn't flying into Austin after
all. It was no problem though, we had fun. I wish I could have met
up with Jason and the others in H-Town, but there wasn't enough time.
So yeah, I caught an episode of "Saved By The Bell" this
morning. Wasn't that like the best show? I think we were very lucky
to grow up with the shows that we had. I had forgot how corny that show
was. At the time though, it was great. You can't be our age and not
have watched "SBTB". This morning's episode was when Zack,
Slater and Screech sneak into 'The Attic', the over 18 dance club because Zack
wanted to date that USC girl. They end up seeing Kelly's boyfriend Jeff
(who she dumped Zack for) cheating on her with another girl. Man, that
show was awesome. I remember wanting to be 18. Ahh, why do we have
to grow old?!? -- Mike
07/04/03
-- Happy 4th of July Everyone!!! I hope everyone is having a great
day. I can't believe it is raining right now! Yeah, it sucks, I
know. Hopefully it will clear up by tonight. Juan is having a party
down in South Padre for those of y'all that are interested in attending.
Hunter is flying in from Los Angeles tonight, so I am going to pick him up when
he comes in. If anyone is in the Austin area, shoot me an e-mail or give
me a call if y'all are interested in meeting up tonight. We have a boat
and will be on the lake and at the house. Everyone is welcome to
attend. See y'all later! -- Mike
07/01/03 --
4th of July Weekend Alert!!! Juan is having a big weekend long event down
in South Padre for the holiday, starting Thursday night (the 3rd). The
festivities are open to anyone and everyone. If you want to attend or need
any more information, e-mail
or call me. If you have no plans yet, this should be tons of fun!
Change of subject...I wanted to take this moment to talk about a
certain few of my friends that pretty much mean the world to me. Or
course, I am very thankful for all of the friends that I have. However,
there are a certain few that clearly take friendship to another level.
Y'all know who you are. I know I don't express enough how much each and
every one of you mean to me. I felt the need to do so now...
I remember one time our freshman year of high school, Juan and I
were talking about our friend "group" (ala 90210 ish). We were
like 15 years old, and talking about who we thought we would still be friends
with in 10 years, and beyond. Funny as it sounds, at the time that show
got me thinking about who was, and would turn out to be my "core"
group of friends that I would keep in touch with for the rest of my life.
Juan even wrote about that conversation when he signed my freshman
yearbook. Well, many years have passed since that conversation.
Alison and I were looking through the yearbooks this weekend, and that got me
thinking about that conversation again.
I am so proud to have kept in touch with so many people over the
years. I know some people share the opinion of shying away from their past
for whatever reasons, and there is nothing wrong with that. I, however,
hold a different opinion. I embrace the past, as it has helped shape me
into who I am today. I love talking about old memories just as much as
making new ones. I love hearing how other people are doing, and getting
back in touch with old friends. I think that, for the most part, we all
grew up in a very close-knit environment. That has helped to keep us very
tight through the years. I am also proud that my "lil' 'ol
website" has helped people get back in touch with others, as well as with
myself. That was part of the reason I started the "Friends"
section. I hope more of y'all join it soon.
With all that being said, I again just want to express my
sincere gratitude to all of my friends out there, especially my close friends,
all of which know who y'all are. Y'all truly are a blessing in my
life. I love y'all very much! -- Mike
