News - January 2003

01/27/03 -- The weekend was pretty fun.  Jason's engagement party (and bachelor party) were alot of fun.  There are so many stories from that night!  I'll keep those to myself though.  LOL!  I'll post some pictures from the engagement party soon.  There were no pictures allowed at the other party!  - Mike

01/25/03 -- Jason Ahuero's Engagement Party (and Bachelor Party!!!) in Houston, TX

01/20/03 -- Martin Luther King Jr. Day is today.  It goes without saying that he was a great man.  This month is going by so fast.  I have been doing my best to keep up with the pace.  My travel has been fast and furious recently; though my body is still holding up.  This week should be a pretty good week for me as far as training goes.  I am looking forward to Jason's Engagement party on Saturday.  I am also looking forward to what will go on afterwards J.  Jase, your big day is only a month and a half away...!  -- Mike

01/16/03 -- Thanks everybody for continuing to sign the Guest Book and for providing great feedback.  I love all of the comments.  This week has gone pretty smooth.  My body is pretty tired though.  I am trying to keep in the most tip-top of shape.  I have also been trying to plan Jason Ahuero's bachelor party.  Gabe and Juan have been a great help.  Jase, I am hoping you have a great time next weekend.  I think we are going to take care of you pretty well dude.  I'll write some more later when I have some more time.  'til then..  - Mike

01/13/03 -- I am still getting used to writing the "03" in the date.  Nothing special went on this weekend.  Training resumes today, so that is what will take up all of my time.  I hope all is going well out there.  Keep in touch.  -- Mike

01/10/03 -- I added a few more pages to the Photo Album section today.  Some are from Gabe's trip to California and Alison's engagement party.  Others are from New Years and Colorado.  Check them out and send me some that you would like posted.  -- Mike

01/09/03 -- Okay, so my body is finally getting the rest it needs, and is getting back to normal.  Since I treaked my ankle again last week in Colorado, I am taking it easy for a few days.  I don't need to break it again, like the few times before.  I don't have much to say today.  I am going to have all my pictures up from the past two weeks by the weekend hopefully.

Hey David, are you feeling better?  You were sick all weekend long. I hope whatever you had is gone.  LOL!

01/08/03 -- These past few weeks have been pretty hectic.  I spent this past week in Colorado.  It was alot of fun, though I am extremely tired from the trip.  It snowed SO much up there!  I couldn't believe how much snow fell on Sunday afternoon.  The low one night up on one of the mountains was -2˚F.  We were freezing our Texas butts off!  I have been trying to get my sleep back on schedule.  I got like no sleep over the last week or so.  It is definitely catching up to me.  I'll post all of the good stories and pictures soon.  I need to rest first!  J -- Mike

01/01/03 -- Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Texas kicked some cajun butt this morning!  We beat up on LSU 35-20 to win the Cotton Bowl.  Hook 'em Horns!!!  Our boys did good.

New Year's Eve was a blast last night.  We all had a great time.  I'll have pictures up from last night's festivities real soon.  The funniest part was when Tom, having already blacked out, found a cab and just left!  You were SO gone dude!

I'll post more info as it comes up.  I got my New Year's "did" on, and now I am getting ready for my snow "did".  If you got that, then you are pretty cool.   Haha!  Take care everyone!  -- Mike
