News - December 2002

12/30/02 -- Congratulations Alison Friedrich!!!  Alison got engaged to her boyfriend Chris Berry over the weekend.  I am very happy for both of them.

The Christmas week is finally over.  I had a very good holiday.  I took the weekend to relax before I get back to training and traveling this week.  I know New Years Eve will be a blast.  Colorado should be much fun this week also.  I hope everyone has a great time tomorrow night.  Be safe and keep in touch!  -- Mike

12/25/02 -- Merry Christmas Everyone!  My holiday has been great so far.  I hope everyone is safe and well.  Enjoy the day!  -- Mike

12/23/02 -- The Christmas week is finally upon us.  I hope everyone is having a great holiday season so far.   I'm looking forward to seeing so many familiar faces this week.  So far this month has been pretty slow; therefore I have nothing much to report.  To everyone that  I haven't seen in some time, get it touch during the break!  I hope to hear from y'all.  Okay, that's good for now.  I'll write more if anything comes up.  -- Mike

12/16/02 --  Don't get me wrong, I love the holiday season.  I just can't stand all of the mad people out there who take shopping so seriously!  There are some crazy folks out there!  Things are pretty routine for me.  I have taken a slight break from training.  My body needs the rest.  I have added a few things to the site recently.  I hope y'all like everything I have done.  There is not much to report today, so I'll end it here.  Hope everyone is well, and I am looking forward to seeing y'all in the next few weeks.  - Mike

Jason, get me those names!  Dude, it's important that we get on this soon!  Believe me, it's for your benefit J

David, sign it!  Also, tell me what else I need.  Call me after 8:00 PM, 'cause I am SO out of the daytime minutes!  LOL!

12/09/02 --  Things have been pretty routine for me over the last week or so.  I am ready for Christmas to be here.  I don't know about everyone else, but between my training, maintaining my workouts, traveling, and a huge lack of sleep; I have been SO tired lately.  Rest is a blessed virtue.  I definitely need more of it.  I am looking forward to spending time in California at the end of this month, and going skiing in Colorado at the beginning of the new year.  If anyone is interested in attending, let me know!  It should be a blast.  Talk to y'all later.  -- Mike

12/04/02 -- Not much is new this week.  I have added a few pictures to the Photo section, and will add more soon.  Please keep coming back!  signing out from H-Town, Mike

12/02/02 -- Well, I was pretty impressed with the beat-down we put on Texas A&M last Friday.  Winning 50-20 against one of our rivals was a great way to end the regular season.  (I still think OU is our biggest rival in football because the game always means so much more in terms of the national title hunt)  We had alot of fun at the game, and I hope to put some pictures up once I get them developed.  Here are my messages to people regarding the game...

Rudy, Did you actually think A&M had a chance?  When I think about all that trash talking you did last week, I can't help but laugh!

David, SprintPCS really sucks!  We can never get service in that stadium!

Liza, can you believe all the crazy people who were at Best Buy so early in the morning?

Jonathan, dude...I can't believe you got caught in the ID scam!?!  Have I not taught you anything?  Better luck next time man.

Nicole, too bad you didn't go to the game.  We had fun!  It was a blast!

I also had a great time this weekend seeing so many faces in Corpus during the holiday.  I hope to see everyone again during the Christmas season.   Everyone have a great week!  -- Mike
