11/20/02 -- Well, this site has taken on quite an identity.  It was originally supposed to be a personal web page.  It has turned into a place where people can be updated on a world they are still, or once were, a part of.  I have received a ton of good ideas for future additions, pictures from others, etc.  People have also commented on how they read news on here that they didn't know.   That's kinda cool!  I like the fact that this site is keeping people up-to-date with how others are doing.  Consider this a bulletin board, if you will, for all the circles of friends out there, especially those who have Corpus Christi roots.

However, I still want to try and keep a hint of what I initially planned, which was a place for people to read about what I have to say and what I feel.  Sometimes my messages may be personal, but the point of this site was to have yet another way to communicate to people beyond e-mail, phone, IM, etc.  This is my personal way to express myself.  My new goal is for this site to be a place for people to come and read the daily dish about others we all know and love/hate, as well as a place for people close to me to come and read about things that may pertain to them.  So basically, check the site everyday, keep the news coming to me, give out the web address to others, and thanks again for visiting!  -- Mike

11/19/02 -- Congratulations Nik Villarreal!!!  On Nov. 4th, 2002, Nik had his first son, Luke Villarreal.  Gee, I wonder if he'll be a soccer fan?

Thanks again for all of the feedback and guest book entries.  Please keep them coming.  This little website is really coming along.  There have been plenty of suggestions.  A rumor page to either confirm or discount rumors?  A page about what everyone is currently up to, like Carroll wide everyone?  An "In Memoriam" page for those who have unexpectedly left us?  All these suggestions are great.  Just remember guys, this stuff takes time and money.  I'll do my best.  Please continue to visit and tell friends.  I really like the fact that so many people have viewed.  Also, if y'all have any pictures of what is going on in y'alls lives, e-mail them to me.  I'll be happy to post them.  Thanks again...now back to updating...  -Mike
