Danny Anderson  (1975 - 2005)

"Danny Anderson, 29, was killed Sunday in Iraq while serving in the United States Army 3rd Infantry Division. He was shot when several vehicles opened fire while attempting to pass the Baghdad checkpoint he was manning. Danny Anderson was born in Corpus Christi, Tex. on Dec. 6th, 1975. He was a graduate of King High School where he struggled to find himself until he discovered a career in the military.

He leaves behind his wife, Moriama, and a five month old baby, Noah Anderson, and an older son, Armando Cavazos. His father Dennis L Anderson is from Corpus Christi as well; his mother, Pat A. Brady and step father Larry D. Brady from Hartford, Tenn.; sister Pattie L. Kalas (Peter); brother Michael F. Anderson; aunt Carla D. Baker and family; Henry Hrchek uncle and Carol Hrchek aunt; sister Vickie E. Morris (Jerry); several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins; in-laws Omero and Olga Luna, 3 sisters-in-law; Eurika, Audra, and Landra.

Danny enjoyed pool, music, mountain hiking, being a D.J. and working out.

Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 6:00 pm. at St. Joseph Church, 710 S. 19th Street; Mass will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Military interment will be at Seaside Memorial. Messages may be left at Funeral Parlor at 361-992-9411; in lieu of flowers donations may be sent to San Juan Diego de Guadalupe Foundation, PO Box 7682, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78467-7682."
