"I graduated from UT and then went to San Diego for my MA in Audiology.
While there I met my hubby Chris, and we moved back to Texas so I could complete
an internship and he could finish school. About a month before our wedding
(which was May 1 '04) Chris was offered a job in San Diego, so we spent our
honeymoon moving back across the desert to California with our 2 cats Marla
& Jamal. The good thing about being in San Diego is living 3 blocks from the
beach and never worrying about the weather forecast -- it never changes. The bad
thing about being in San Diego is having to sign away your first born to afford
rent. I'll be working as an audiologist at the Navy Hospital out here and am
(sadly) planning on going back to school in the fall for my AuD. Although Chris
is a native Californian, I've managed to convert him to a Texan at heart. We're
hoping to move back to the Lone Star State in the next several years. In the
meantime, if anyone finds themselves out west feel free to contact me. I'd be
more than happy to show you around or hook ya up with a free place to stay.
