Daryl Allan Beggs  (1977 - 2001)

"Daryl Allan Beggs went to sleep with the Angels on Thursday, August 23, 2001.  He was born on October 21, 1977 in Springdale, Arkansas.  Daryl was a very brave young man who battled a lengthy illness.  Despite insurmountable odds, Daryl graduated from Mary Carroll High School in May 1996 and attended TAMUCC where he received a BS degree in computer science in May 2001.

Daryl was 23 years old.

Daryl is survived by his parents, Edward & Julie Beggs; a brother, Scott M. Beggs; grandparents C.W. & Ann Webb of Springdale, Arkansas; Aunts & Uncles, Dick & Susan Beggs of Austin, Texas; Steve & Linda Leedy of Terre Haute, Indiana.

Daryl was intelligent, witty, and an avid Star Wars fan.  He will be extremely missed by all those who knew and loved him.  "May the force be with you".

Memorial service will be held at Yorktown Baptist Church on Monday, August 27, 2001 at 2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association."
